a week agoGoogled mexican restaurant near me. This place came up. Sunday afternoon. Not too busy. Sat immediately. Waiter greets us, order 2 margaritas. Pretty good. Chips/salsa very tasty. Burritos were tasty. My only thing to comment on is I wish the corn tortilla on Tostada was not crunchy. It was just like a enchilada corn tortilla. Wanted it crunchy like a taco. Server was fantastic. Didn't appreciate that I asked to change chalupa for tostada and told no problem. But I was charged $4.50 on top of normal lunch price even though I didn't get a chalupa. Asked waiter if we could just get a small side salad, lettuce & tomatoes. Was charged $7.00 for that. Don't think we'll be back.

a week agoThis place is a hidden jewel! They definitely have the best Mexican food around (and we have tried them all )! The service is fantastic, the house turned restaurant is GORGEOUS, the atmosphere is fun, the music is just the right volume, and the food is WONDERFUL! I am so glad we stopped in for dinner! We will definitely be back!

a month agoThis is the best Mexican food that I have had in North Carolina! The Aztec Chef has authentic food and an authentic atmosphere. It's colorfully decorated. The service is top notch. The wait staff is friendly, helpful and attentive.

3 months agoWalked in for the first time and let me just say WOW!! Not only was the building beautiful inside and out but the staff were very friendly and welcoming! The food was absolutely delicious 🤤 with generous portions too! I will definitely be coming back to this place!

8 months agoI loved the food , fast , clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I’m so happy we finally have somewhere new to eat nearby! Y’all should try it! And they have a salsa bar!

9 months agoThis place has a fun, colorful, open atmosphere, service was great and the dish I had was very tasty! I had a combination #7- the taco was delicious and I really like their taco meat. I was really looking forward to the chile rellenos… not great but not terrible.
